Saving a quote

   Tap the orange “+” button in the middle of the tab bar.

   Take a photo of the quote.

   Adjust the selection, then tap the check mark.

   Tap “Add book” below the quote to attach the book.

There is also a short video on attaching book details.

Scan the barcode on the back cover and the book details fill themselves in. Scan it from “Add book” in step 4 above.

• A curved page is harder to read. Flatten the page as much as you can.

• Shoot somewhere bright, and keep shadows off the page.

• Books with a lot of furigana (ruby text) tend to scan less accurately.

• If it does not catch the first time, taking the photo again often works.

If a particular book will not scan, let us know along with your device name.

You can also type instead of taking a photo. Tap the “+” button and choose Manual entry.
