Before you switch phones
Switching phones is the most common question we get. Please do this while your old phone is still to hand.
1. On the old phone, check whether an account is linked
Tap the person icon at the far right of the tab bar and look at the account you are signed in with. If it says “Guest”, nothing is linked yet, so go to step 2. If an account is shown, you are already linked. Go to step 3.
2. If you are a guest, link an account

Tap the person icon at the far right of the tab bar.

Under “Account”, tap Link next to Google or Apple and sign in.
Your quotes are now stored in your biblog account. See Guest use vs. a linked account for more.
3. Sign in on the new phone

Install biblog on the new phone.

Sign in with the same account you used before.

Check that your quotes appear.
Frequently asked questions
I have already given away my old phone. Can I still get my quotes back?
If you were using biblog as a guest, your quotes were only ever stored on that phone, so they cannot be recovered. We are sorry. You will be starting fresh on the new phone. If you linked an account before parting with the old phone, signing in with it will bring everything back.
I do not remember which account I used.
If the old phone still works, check the person icon at the far right of the tab bar. If it does not, try signing in with Google and then with Apple. If neither shows your quotes, please get in touch.
I signed in on the new phone but my quotes are missing.
You are most likely signed in with a different account. See Cannot sign in, or quotes are missing.
Can I export my quotes?
There is no export feature at the moment. Please use a linked account to carry your quotes over.
